Program Schedule:

Six 3-hour virtual sessions, hosted online and facilitated by two Certified Dare to Lead Facilitators.

All sessions CET via Zoom.

Here are answers to some of the most frequent questions we receive. We hope they answer yours.

Is Dare to Lead™ offered virtually?

Yes! Dare to Lead™ is offered both as an in-person course and as an online format. Online sessions will be delivered via Zoom. We request each participant use audio and video for our sessions. Participants receive hard-copy workbooks via mail prior to the first session. Participants will also receive a Zoom link for all sessions via email. All times are in Central European time.

Who is Dare to Lead™ for? Who should attend?

One of the best attributes of the Dare to Lead™ curriculum is its accessibility — the content will meet you where you are whether you’re a new leader or have decades of experience.

The Dare Team Switzerland facilitators have delivered Dare to Lead™ with corporate executives, students, teachers, and nonprofit leaders. Our public programs are for individuals — you may be an HR professional, a business owner, a leader seeking to bring daring leadership to your community.

Who created Dare to Lead™?

Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. Brené is also a visiting professor in management at The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.

She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and her latest book, Dare to Lead.

Brené hosts the Unlocking Us Podcast and the Dare to Lead Podcast. Her TED talk – The Power of Vulnerability – is one of the top five most viewed TED talks in the world with over 50 million views. She is also the first researcher to have a filmed lecture on Netflix. The Call to Courage special debuted on the streaming service in April 2019.

Brené lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Steve. They have two children, Ellen and Charlie.

What’s the refund policy?

Attendees can cancel their tickets at up to 7 days before the event no questions asked, in which case we will fully refund you minus the payment providers processing fees. Cancellations less than 7 days before the event can be rolled onto one of our future events, either online or in-person, or will be reimbursed at 50% of the original ticket price paid.

Alternatively, tickets are transferable, if you cannot attend you are welcome to pass on your ticket to someone else who would benefit!
